Uninstalling BrightQ-Pro

BrightQ-Pro includes an uninstallation utility accessible from its graphical Configuration Tool and from a terminal.

List installed Codehost components:

codehost-uninstall --list

Uninstall the complete BrightQ package:

codehost-uninstall brightq

The tool may prompt for confirmation. To remove a component only, pass a product and component identifier; use codehost-uninstall --list first to discover the installed identifiers.

Check spooler integration

If BrightINSTALL previously replaced the system’s lp or lpr links, inspect their restoration after uninstall. Back up queue configuration and take care not to remove drivers still used by other queues.
