BrightQ-Pro for Canon

Use the Canon BrightQ-Pro 2.5.11 package for your operating system and check the printer’s model and controller before installation.

Licensing for supported Canon devices is included with Canon BrightQ-Pro. No separate driver-license purchase is required for those devices. Use the Canon package for your platform and the included drivers for your supported model and controller.

See registration and licensing for how this differs from packages that require separate activation or license import. Canon International BrightQ SE is a separate edition with its own licensing instructions.

Every supported Canon device needs its appropriate Network Printer Kit and a PostScript controller. The internal Canon controller is supported; the device list identifies additional external controller combinations. Keep the device and controller firmware up to date.

Check Canon_options.txt supplied with the package for the options available on your model. Then follow the installation guide and Printer Installation Wizard.

The following platform requirements apply to the Canon distribution. Other OEM packages can have different system requirements.
